Brighton Train Depot Repurpose
Brighton, CO
In the 1980s, Union Pacific Railroad gave the train depot to the City of Brighton with the condition that the depot be moved to City property. The depot was moved to its current location on Bridge Street, and a boxcar was added. The depot is part of an urban plaza shared with a historic armory building and a public library. The abo co-op was part of the Design Build team converting the depot into the Welcome Center and Bistro/Coffee Bar.
